“So many of us walk around holding it all together, afraid that if we let go, everything will fall apart. Therapy is the place where you can finally set that weight down.”

Beyond Just “Coping”

We often come to therapy when our usual coping strategies stop working. You might feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by low mood, or stuck in a life that no longer feels like your own.

My goal is not just to help you manage symptoms, but to understand what those symptoms are trying to tell you.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy, we look at the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours to interrupt patterns that keep you stuck.

Anxiety and Stress

We work on regulating your nervous system so you can move from a state of constant alarm to a sense of grounded calm.

Identity and Purpose

Therapy creates space to explore deeper questions. Who are you beneath the roles you play? What genuinely matters to you?

Navigating Trauma and Overwhelm

When we experience difficult or overwhelming events, the body often holds onto the memory. This can leave us stuck in hyper-arousal, such as anxiety and vigilance, or hypo-arousal, such as emotional shutdown.

This is often described as being outside your “Window of Tolerance.”

In our work together, we gently expand this window. We create a safe environment where difficult emotions can be processed without becoming overwhelming, allowing your nervous system to settle and your past to integrate.

Rewriting Your Inner Narrative

For many people, the harshest voice they hear is their own. You may notice constant self-criticism, replaying past mistakes, or holding yourself to impossible standards.

This inner critic is often a protective strategy that has gone too far.

Rather than trying to silence this voice, we approach it with curiosity. By understanding what drives your self-criticism, judgment can gradually give way to self-compassion, leading to a quieter mind and a more grounded confidence.
